Concra Wood Golf Club: The Jewel of Lough Muckno

Perched on the shores of the expansive Lough Muckno in County Monaghan, Concra Wood Golf Club stands as one of Ireland’s most visually arresting parkland courses. Since its opening, the course has earned a reputation for blending technical challenge with the serene, rugged beauty of the Irish landscape.

A Masterful Design

Concra Wood is the only course in the world designed by the renowned pairing of Christy O'Connor and Christy O’Connor Junior his Nephew, this par-72 championship layout stretches over 7,256 yards from the back tees. The design philosophy was simple yet demanding: utilize the undulating terrain and the natural water hazards of Lough Muckno to test every facet of a golfer's game. With 15 of the 18 holes offering views of the water, the scenery provides a constant distraction for the focused player.
